Baltimore Gothic is a Baltimore based literary magazine with an interest in all things Southern and Gothic. We love authors who live in the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe, Flannery O’Connor and William Faulkner. We want short stories that capture the essence of the human spirit, including its darkness and decay. We seek out perfectly imperfect protagonists, antagonists and antiheroes.

Baltimore Gothic is revamping with a new structure. In order to sustain print, each submission for the Print issue will be a paid submission. We will now have rolling online submissions for a free option.

Duotrope has listed us twice. Please submit to the Online Submission under Baltimore Gothic for the online only submissions.

All authors included in Issue 1 will be included in the print issue. Issue 1 will release in print simultaneously with Issue 2.
